April 2025 Product Updates

Updated Search Filters

We’ve updated our search filters to make candidate discovery faster, smarter, and more targeted. Here's what's new:

Keywords Filter

  • Refine your candidate search results by adding custom keywords to tailor your search even further.

Employee Overlap Filter

  • The new employee overlap filter helps you find candidates who have previously worked with your current team. You can also adjust how far back you want to search for past connections.

Company Filter Revamp

We’ve merged the “Past Companies” and “Current Company” filters into a single, more powerful "Company Name" filter for greater flexibility and precision. Updates include:

  • Position Type: Filter by current, past, or any role at a company.
  • Period: Search by specific years (e.g., 2012–2014) to target candidates during key growth phases.
  • Minimum Duration: Identify tenured team members by filtering for minimum time spent at a company.
  • Predefined Groups: Quickly access curated groups like Companies with a Notable Investor, Top 10 Tech Companies, and AM Law 100.

Headcount Filter Consolidated

  • We’ve combined “Headcount joined at any company” and “Headcount joined at current company” into a single filter, “Headcount at Time of Hire”, making it simpler to find candidates hired at specific growth stages.

Investor Filter

  • Filter candidates based on the investors backing their current or past companies.

School Attended Filter

  • The previous "Ivy League" filter has been expanded to grouped categories like Ivy League and Top Computer Science Schools, making it more organized.

Native Integrations

You can now connect directly to Recruiterflow, Loxo, and Kortivity through our native integrations.

Today, you can:

  • Check if a candidate already exists in your ATS by their email or LinkedIn URL
  • Create a candidate profile and assign them to a job
  • Quickly link out to view the candidate’s profile in your ATS

LinkedIn Connection Requests (Beta)

You can now send LinkedIn connection requests both manually and automatically through Pin. This feature is currently in beta. If you’d like to enable this, please reach out to our team.

Redesigned Jobs Menu

The Jobs dropdown menu has been redesigned for easier navigation and better job management. It’s now wider to display more information and includes a new "Team" tab for better visibility.

Manage Unsubscribe and Company-wide Block List

You can now easily copy and paste your unsubscribe lists and view all unsubscribed contacts in one place. Additionally, you can block specific companies across your entire organization to prevent them from appearing in sourcing results or being messaged.

Smaller updates:

  • All messages in your outreach queue can now be sent at once, instead of one by one.
  • Bulk outreach errors can now be cleared by error type, making it faster to resolve issues.
  • You can now customize how often emails are sent for each email account, with options to send every 2, 5, or 10 minutes.
  • A loading indicator now shows how many profiles are still being imported when candidates are manually added. If a profile fails to import, you can easily view and remove it.
  • You can now bulk add candidates to Outreach directly from the Shortlist table view.
  • Outreach now alerts you if you hit your daily email limit for a job. You’ll also see a banner if you're outside your sending window, your sequence is paused, or it’s a holiday.
  • Internal notes can be added to candidate profiles while sourcing, helping you capture insights and collaborate more effectively with your team.
  • Pin now shows who sent each email, whether it was sent by you or automatically by Pin on your behalf for added visibility and tracking.
