Search V3 Updates

We’ve made some enhancements to Search V3 to help you find better matches:

Company-Aware Search Criteria
When you enter the company you're hiring for, Pin automatically researches it by analyzing products, industries, skills, and common locations, to personalize your search filters based on that company instead of generic criteria.

New Search Filters Available:

  • Search your ATS for matches
You can now search for candidates in your ATS (currently supported: Ashby, Crelate, Greenhouse, and JobAdder) to find potential fits for the role you’re hiring for. To use this filter, you’ll need to connect your ATS first.
  • Filter by LinkedIn connections
Upload your LinkedIn connections to see whether you or a team member is connected to a candidate. You can filter results by your own or your team’s connections to prioritize warm leads.

Search V3 is currently available in beta. If you’re interested in trying it out, you can reach out to our team for access.

View All Candidates Across All Jobs

You can now view, filter, and add candidates you’ve previously contacted to any job, from anywhere.

Generate Search Criteria from LinkedIn URL

You can paste a LinkedIn URL into the new job flow or the AI search criteria bar, and Pin will generate search requirements based on that person's profile.

New Outreach Sequence Interface

The Outreach Sequence interface has been updated to make it easier to customize your email preferences and manage inbox automation.

Previously Messaged Tag

If you’ve messaged a candidate before, Pin will show the date of your last communication to give you quick visibility into your conversation history.

Candidate Tags

Tags will appear on the candidate card, along with the candidate's years of experience.

Smaller updates:

  1. You can filter by seniority level, including the ability to exclude specific roles. For example, you can exclude VPs when searching for Senior Software Engineers to focus on candidates in non-leadership positions.
  2. Hints will now appear to let you know if you’ve added all the required search criteria when creating a new job.
  3. LinkedIn connection requests can be sent without a note, giving you more flexibility when reaching out.
  4. Bounced emails will be automatically skipped. If you update a bounced email address, the system will attempt to resend it.
  5. Billing roles are now available and can be assigned to multiple team members. These users can manage billing and update team members, but won’t be charged and will have viewer-level access to the rest of the platform.
  6. A custom date picker is available in the Reports dashboard, allowing you to view data for specific date ranges.
