November 2024 Product Updates

We’re excited to share that Pin is now even more powerful with our newest features—and alongside these updates, we’re proud to announce that Pin has achieved SOC 2 Type 1 compliance, demonstrating our commitment to protecting your data through rigorous security controls and practices. This certification verifies that our systems meet industry-standard criteria for security, availability, and confidentiality, giving you confidence that your sensitive information is being handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

New Search Filters

We’ve added new search filters to help you refine your candidate searches, including:

Candidate Location

• You can now search for candidates based in Canada

Candidate Details:

• Gender (Female, Male)
• Timezones (Eastern Time, Central Time, Pacific Time, etc.)
• Needs Visa Sponsorship (Yes, No)
• Currently Employed (Yes, No)
• Ethnicity (Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx) – highlighting underrepresented groups

Overall Experience:

• Total Years of Experience

We've also enhanced our search to better filter out false positives and negatives (e.g. candidates who don’t work in FP&A), giving a higher degree of accuracy.

LinkedIn Messaging​

LinkedIn InMails can now be sent directly from Pin sequences. These InMails will appear in the Pin Inbox and sync all LinkedIn messages exchanged between you and the candidate.

To track the LinkedIn conversation in Pin, the initial message must be sent through Pin. If the candidate responds, you’ll need to continue the conversation on LinkedIn instead of Pin. If you’d like to enable this feature, please reach out to our team.

Phone Number Lookups

You can now search for a candidate's phone number directly within their profile. Please reach out to our team to enable this feature.

New Outreach View

We’ve enhanced the Outreach dashboard to give you a clearer view of the candidate activity in your outreach sequences. The updated layout includes the following categories:

• All In Sequence
• In Progress
• Not Yet Contacted
• No Response
• Messaged
• Opened
• Replied
• Scheduled

Some smaller updates:

• Email signatures can now be included in your outreach sequence. You can add your signature in the Connected Accounts section of your Settings.
• Unsubscribe requests are now automated—if someone replies with an unsubscribe request or a similar phrase, they’ll be immediately removed from the sequence.
• A warning will now notify you if you've emailed a candidate within the past six months, but it won't appear for emails sent over six months ago.
