In October we rolled out search enhancements, ideal candidate profiles, editable preset lists, multi-sequence messaging, new beta releases for global outreach and dark mode, and more.

Search Improvements

Pin will learn from your candidate choices and adjust your search results automatically to help show the best candidates for your job description and your selections. Most customers have seen a 20% increase in accepted candidates from Pin’s new pattern recognition algorithm.

New filters are also available to help you find candidates with experience under a group of companies:

  • Fast Growing Companies
  • Public Companies
  • Startups

AI Evaluation now supports multiple questions and can help you make decisions on candidates faster without needing to read long resumes.

Ideal Candidates

You can add specific LinkedIn profiles that match the type of candidates you’re looking for. Add as many as you’d like when creating a new job, using the “Ideal Profile” filter, or in the “Ask Pin” text box.

Update Preset Lists

Updating preset filter lists just got easier. You can now edit them directly, and any changes will automatically update everywhere that preset is used.

Message Candidates in Multiple Sequences

Candidates can be included in multiple active sequences without needing to be archived first. If a candidate is already in another sequence, you’ll see a “In another sequence” error that can be cleared to continue sending outreach.

Global Outreach and Queue (Beta)

A new global outreach view and queue lets you see all candidates with errors across all sequences, including those that need manual review

Dark Mode (Beta)

Pin is now available in dark mode. Reach out to our team if you’d like to enable it.

Smaller updates:

  1. Filters can be edited in bulk (e.g., setting all criteria to required or optional) instead of adjusting each one individually; for supported filters, you can apply the criteria in bulk to current roles, past roles, recent roles, or any role.
  2. We’ve added a Credits Usage overview to show exactly which candidate lookups consumed credits.
  3. When a candidate shows a “Missing Email” error, you can choose to rerun either a work or personal email lookup.
  4. Reports now filter by team member so you can view sourcing and outreach metrics per person.
  5. When setting up your ATS job sync, you can enter the job name instead of scrolling through the dropdown list.
