September 2024 Product Updates
In September, we made some exciting updates: a new search interface, work email lookups, and open and link tracking to streamline your recruitment workflow.
New Search Interface
We’ve updated our search interface to include simple filters alongside Pin’s powerful custom criteria search. With this new interface, you can see what Pin will be targeting before running your search.
Some of the search’s new filters include:
Candidate details:
- Candidate location
- Years in current profession
Candidate’s current position:
- Years at current company
- Company's current headcount
- Company's headcount at time of hire
- Company's current funding stage
- Company's funding stage at time of hire
Candidate’s overall experience:
- Average tenure at companies
- Companies worked at
- Headcount when hired at any company worked at
- Funding stage when hired at any company worked at
Education:
- Universities attended
- Graduation year
- Highest degree obtained
We plan on adding additional filters throughout the next weeks including:
- Companies working at currently
- Recently (or not recently) promoted
- Worked at a company backed by a top investor
Work Email Lookups
You can now enable or disable open tracking in your Email Preferences. Click tracking has also been added to track link clicks within your email.

You can now enable or disable open tracking in your Email Preferences. Click tracking has also been added to track link clicks within your email.
Inbox and candidate activity includes when that email was opened and each time it was opened.
Some smaller updates:
- “Ready to send” changed from sending emails immediately to sending during your sending hours.
- Gmail aliases can be selected from the drop-down menu wherever you can change the email sender.
